For Jon's b-day, I got him tickets to see Brian Regan. He has worked with the venue where he was performing, and they gave us passes to go back stage and meet him! It was so fun- he's totally laid back and very nice. We laughed so hard our faces hurt!

U2

A couple of weeks ago, U2 came to our little town of Charlottesville! It was so awesome- they played at UVa's football stadium (which now Jon can say he and Bono have played in the same stadium). It was a beautiful October night with good friends, great music, and sweet views.

Four Miler!

Back in September, I ran in my first race! It was just a little 4 miler, but it was definitely the farthest I had ever run :) My sisters-in-law ran it along with my mother-in-law, and some of my best friends. My parents and Andy even came down for the weekend!

Jon's Jeep died this summer, so now he has his '71 Beetle here! It is so fun to drive- even though you smell like gas when you get out, sweat to death, and get a little jerked around :)

Mystery solved

I now know why we've caught 7 mice in the last month! I moved some stuff in our laundry room the other day, only to find an entire bag of birdseed in the corner, totally eaten. We've been fattening up all the mice on our property for who knows how long! Thankfully, after I swept it all up, there have been no more mice!

I never thought we would have lost BOTH of our cars in a 3 month period, but sadly, Jon's Jeep up and died on us. It would have been more expensive to fix it than the value of it. So, once again, we are a one car family.
